A Journey Through Art: 4 December 2010 – 12 March 2011 - Norwood Gallery

Rupert Toovey founded Toovey’s, Antique & Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers in 1994 together with his family. A little over fifteen years on, the company has become a regional centre of expertise, employing some of the country’s leading specialists.

Rupert is well known for his numerous appearances on BBC Bargain Hunt. In June 2010 Rupert was ordained as a Deacon in the Church of England. He continues to work full time as an auctioneer and valuer whilst also ministering to people ‘where they are’. The exhibition reflects Rupert’s very personal journey with art and antiques, drawing on the museum’s and his own collections.

On Saturday 15 January Rupert will be here to discuss the exhibition and to shed light on your artefacts and antiques, so do bring along an item from your attic. £5 per person for members of the public.
