Garden Open for Charity

Gardening in a small space can be a challenge but that doesn’t mean it needs to be boring. Why not come and get some inspiration by visiting 33 Ashacre Lane in Worthing.

The garden has got a strong structure that is very visible in winter but in the summer, it is overflowing with annuals and perennials. It has even got a mini jungle at the end.

The money raised will help to support the ‘Singing for Pleasure group’. This is a Guild Care initiative to enable people to enjoy singing in a group without the pressure of having to perform. They meet once a month in Broadwater and perform a variety of songs from ‘Swing low sweet chariot’ to show tunes.

If you want more information on this group, call the Outreach Team on 01903 528627.

The garden will be opened on Saturday the 3rd of September, from 10am to 4pm Entry is £2 per person. Tea, coffee and home made cakes will be on sale on the day.
