They are holding a Steam Gala on Sunday July 11th as part of the Field Place Open Day festivities.

Miniature steam train rides will be available between 11.00am and 5.00pm with six locomotives (subject to availability) each running a turn during those hours.

This is an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy some outdoor entertainment with the opportunity sit down and relax with a cup of tea after the train ride or even between rides.

WDSME also operate their 5 inch gauge track for the public on the second and fourth Sundays of each month until the end of October but with the usual running times of 2.00pm until 5.00pm.

Train rides on all occasions cost 50p for children and adults. Field Place is situated off the Boulevard, Worthing, near Durrington-on-Sea railway station.
