Worthing Neighbourhood Care Alliance - Full of Life 2 - 3rd June 2010.

Following the success of our Full of Life Event last year, Worthing Neighbourhood Alliance is pleased to announce that:

Full of Life 2 (adding life to years for the over 55’s) will be taking place on Thursday 3rd June 2010, 10am-4pm at the Assembly Hall Worthing.

There will be lots of activities to try, including Extend, Short Mat Bowls, Nordic Walking, talks on how to write a novel, healthy eating, over 60 stands from Voluntary and Community Groups and Hobby groups. There will be “surgeries” to check you are getting all the pension and benefits you are entitled to, your blood pressure or your lifestyle. And if you feel like volunteering, then the Volunteer Centre will be there to give you all the information you need.

The event sponsors will also be there:

Barkers will be giving advice on the digital changeover

Curves will be bringing along some exercise equipment for you to try out

Woods Travel will have three travel agent stands (Coach, Cruise and specialist holidays)

Red Assure can advise you on Community Alarms, etc.

Sussex Farmhouse Foods will have lots of yummy taster samples to try

Debbie Stevens Pamper Zone is back, with taster treatments for just £6

Also, Sussex Fire Service will be showing you how to cook safely with tips from their own chef.

A Tea Dance will finish the day for those of you who want to let your hair down!

There will also be lots of free draws, where you could win a coach trip, a meal out, Curves membership or a golf membership. And, yes there is still more! ...
