Worthing Sea and Royal Marine Cadets

TS VanguardTS VANGUARD, Worthing Sea and Royal Marine Cadets, in Broadwater Road, Worthing sent a small delegation consisting of Lieutenant (SCC ) Andrew Seggie RNR, Commanding Officer, Royal Marine Cadet Corporal Lawrence Burridge, Able Cadet Henry Smallpeice and Cadet Max French to attend a cheque presentation where over £100,000.00 was donated to many charities and Local causes by the Provincial Grand Master of Sussex Mason, the Very Worshipful, Kenneth E. Thomas.

The unit receive a cheque for just under £2600 to pay for replacement double glazed windows to the upper deck of the unit.

This will assist in keeping the fuel bill down over the year and help the environment too.
The request for the donation was sponsored by Stanford Masonic Lodge No1947 to whom the cadets, staff are very grateful.

The Sea and Royal Marine Cadets are a voluntary youth organistion and registered charity ( No. 305466 )  We meet each Wednesday and Friday and carry out training based on the traditions of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines. The activities undertaken are varied as we can offer every type of activity that all other organisations can offer.

Ranging from diving to sailing and power boating and from cooking and camping to communication and flying.
